Tim was born and raised in Benedict, Minnesota. (Just North of Walker, Minnesota).  He went to school K-12 in Walker.  As you can see from the photos, music has always been an important part of his life.  He has played in many bands over the years from Southern Minnesota (Quartermoon, Chester Briggs and The Groove) to Northern Minnesota (The Heaters, Spots on Dice and Hazbeenz).  He's been known to say, "I think I was born playing, I'm sure I'll die playing."

Of all the bands he has played in, The Hazbeenz has been the most rewarding. Like his first band when he was 12 years old, everyone in the band lives within a three mile radius of Benedict and odly enough, everyone in the band is either a brother or a nephew of the original members of that first band.
